Someone Else’s Heart

I have a lot of docs, both on my Google Drive and on my Dropbox folder (I use the first for RP and the latter for book material) titled “random” or “something random”, “another random”, “random scene” or some other variation of random.

I opened one said doc (Dropbox folder, in case you’re wondering) right now and found the following passage:

Some people liked to sing their worries away. “Songs are like birds,” they’d say, “cast them into the winds and they’ll carry your fears away.” I was no singer. Arrows were my birds. They’d only carry my fears long enough to bury them in someone else’s heart.

I don’t know when or where I’ll use this, but I gotta admit really like it. The idea of it at least.
